11:00 – Down The Banks – Navigation Road

A community walk along the length of the recently restored riverbank walk, with short talks on “The Glory Days of The Bulwarks” by Manus O Callaghan, “Blackwater Memories” by David Willis and a performance of “Lovers Leap” and a few other favourites from John Spillane.

14:00 – Mural – Herlihys Centra/St James Car Park

Work begins on the creation of a new Mural by 5 students from Davis College working with and under the direction of local artist Edith O’Mahony.

14:00 – A Literary Afternoon with Billy O Callaghan -Hibernian Hotel

Billy is the author of 4 short story collections and 3 novels. Winner of The Irish Book Award, his books have been translated into over a dozen languages. He will talk about his journey into writing, read from some of his published works and give a special presentation on writing that sells.

17:15 – “The Game” – Philips Bookshop

Tadhg Coakley takes us on a journey into the heart of sport and signs copies of his best seller.

20:00 – Annmarie O’Riordan in Concert – Hibernian Hotel

An evening of traditional Irish ballads and some original material from Traditional/Folk/Country singer Annmarie whose unique and distinctive voice has earned her a large following. Tickets €10 from eventbrite.ie or at the door.
