The runtime for this programme is approximately 1 hr & 45 mins. Some films may contain content unsuitable for children, and harrowing scenes.

Director Statement
I have always loved film and always wanted to make films. When I was a kid I would set my alarm and get up 3 in the morning and watch films from my parents video shop. One incident is when I started smoking and I fell asleep after a film. I woke to my mother giving out to me for smoking. I was grounded for a month but it was worth it. I had watched Schindler’s list.

255111 was screened at over 150 film festivals around the world and won 11 awards from writing, cinematography and best film at Fastnet film festival 2019. Covid put a hold on this film but there is another 4 parts to it before anyone is caught.

Baptism Troubles (4:48)

Baptism Troubles is a drama comedy about a little girls baptism

Boopies Quest (9:50)

A young girl, Grace, loses her favourite toy while out playing in the woods, Boopie. A spirit in the woods, Seraph, gives life to Boopie in order to help bring the toy home. However, the only way in which Boopie can return to Grace’s side is by enduring upon a perilous journey through three mystical realms.

Creak (8:35)

Two sisters both in grief from the recent death of their father, as supernatural presence is near.

Into the Silence (12:25)

In the 1990s rave scene in Dublin, a young DJ must confront the echoes of a life-altering event to rediscover his passion in a time of chaos.

Mob the Trench (14:55)

The end is nigh! Far into a strange future, an equation disproves the existence of God, leaving a mechanically enhanced priest to question everything he believes. To make things worse, his once friendly church-going congregation have turned into an angry mob…. and they want answers.

Mob the Trench was written and produced by Eoin Harrison and directed by Niamh Collins as part of Emerging Limerick Filmmakers’ Scenario X programme. This initiative was supported by the Arts Council and was recognised with a Media Literacy Award. Mob the Trench has won awards at the Revolution Me festival in New York, the Fastnet Film Festival and the Atlantic Film Festival in South Africa, among others. It premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival.

Naked Lights (14:08)

When a masked stranger threatens to burn down a 24-hour petrol station, disaffected night shift attendant Emma is all that stands in his way.

Plugged Out (8:00)

Plugged out is a meditation on the absence of society and what’s revealed in the silence of one’s own presence

While plugging out from society because of autistic burnout, I brought an old camera to take photographs of the beautiful rural landscape. Then the film maker in me thought, why not share the value of plugging out with others who might feel completely lost in their own lives? Others, who might need to isolate to find their own answers.

QuitTok (10:50)

The Cowboy (4:51)

Conor, an aspiring filmmaker, grieves the loss of his father. He looks to the past for encouragement as his aspirations dwindle.
